A typical magnetic smartphone holder has six small round magnets evenly spaced on the magnetic surface, while this holder has super strong neodymium magnets tightly spaced on a 44 x 36 mm magnetic surface. By reducing the footprint, it is easier to accommodate the tank's gentle curves and unevenness. The firm ball joint allows the smartphone to be turned sideways or tilted.
