[Smart Record Display]

■Compatible with Carplay/AndroidAuto●5Ghz Wi-Fi (switchable between indoor W52 and outdoor W56DFS modes) *Compatible with vehicles with or without roof.

* W56DFS is a 5GHz Wi-Fi frequency that can be used outdoors. DFS is a technology to avoid interference with radio waves from weather radars and other sources. There is a waiting time of about 1 minute when connecting, and it may reconnect during use. The indoor W52 has no waiting time and is not affected by external radio waves.

■iPhone requirements: iPhone 6S/iOS13 or later.

■Android requirements: Android 11 or higher (cheap smartphones may not connect.)

■How to connect: When you connect via Bluetooth, it will connect to Wi-Fi and automatically disconnect from Bluetooth. It will automatically connect from next time.

*Uses mobile data communication.

■How to connect the intercom: Connect to your smartphone. *This product is a mirroring monitor. The smartphone acts as a PC, and the monitor and intercom are connected to the smartphone as peripheral devices, like a PC monitor or speaker.

■Volume/brightness: Manual adjustment *There is no auto adjustment function.

■ Sound output: Output destination can be switched to smartphone (intercom) or monitor. * This unit is a monitor that projects the output of smartphone CarPlay and Android Auto. Firmware updates such as iOS may change the restrictions and specifications of the apps that can be used. In addition, the intercom is connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth, and this unit is connected to the smartphone via Wi-Fi.

■Clock: Accurate time is displayed by connecting to a smartphone or using GPS positioning. There is no backup function.

■BSD rear visual surveillance system (millimeter wave radar): Planned as an option.

■Firmware: Please update using the rewritable microSD card or the download version from the official website. *If you accidentally turn off the power during the update, the power may not start up. You will need to recover using the rewritable microSD card. (Recovery is not possible with the download version.)


[Precautions for use]

- Keyless cars may experience frequency interference depending on their installation location.

- In outdoor mode, there is a waiting period of about 1 minute when connecting, and it may reconnect during use.

・Budget smartphone models may not connect smoothly. Please try it out with a display model.

- CarPlay and Android Auto apps are not functions of this unit.


[If CarPlay/Android Auto is not connected]

・Try updating your OS to the latest version.

・This may be caused by interference from a security app. Try turning it off.

・The Wi-Fi automatic protection function (using VPN) may affect connections with some devices and applications. Try temporarily disabling the VPN settings or uninstalling the related app.

・This may be caused by "au Wi-Fi Access." Please try uninstalling it.

- Try clearing the cache for Android Auto. All apps > Android Auto > Storage and cache > Clear cache.

・If you cannot connect to CarPlay on your iPhone, try disconnecting the VPN. Check in Settings > General VPN and Device Management.

-Please update Android Auto to the latest version on Google PLAY.

・Some low-cost smartphones cannot connect to Android Auto with W56DFS. Try connecting under a roof with W52 in indoor mode.


[Manufacturer's warranty]

■Manufacturer's warranty period: 1 year (expires on the same day as purchase)

At Kaedia, we provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction. If you have any questions about our products or about installing them on your motorcycle, our nationally certified staff will be able to provide you with the appropriate specialized knowledge. In the unlikely event that the defect is diagnosed as being due to a product defect, we will review the matter based on our manufacturer's warranty regulations and provide free repairs or replacements under the manufacturer's warranty. If the product is used for commercial purposes, the manufacturer's warranty period will be halved (for example, if the manufacturer's warranty period is 1 year, it will be 6 months, and the expiration date will be the same day as the purchase date plus 6 months).
